2010 Whitetail Ridge Junior Program Outline

Who:   The program is open to all kids from ages 6-17.  Experience is not a requirement.  Kids on the younger side will have to demonstrate proper behavior and be able to pay attention to instruction.  Any kids determined to not be “ready” for the program will be given a refund and invited back next year.  We do not want to discourage participation, but we want to be fair to those who want to learn, pay attention and avoid distractions.

What:  The program will be divided into three categories based on age. 
            The age group breakdown is as follows: 
                    Boys and Girls ages 6-9
                    Boys and Girls ages 10-13
                    Boys and Girls ages 14-17

When:  The program will run every Tuesday for five consecutive weeks from June 22nd through July 20th.  Each category will have a minimum ½ hour of instruction and then either a contest or on course play each week.  Start times and schedules are located within the registration packet.  There is a rain date of July 27th if one of the sessions is rained out.  If we use the rain date, the Junior Championship will be pushed back to August 3rd.  If there is no need for a rain date, the Junior Championship will be played on July 27th.
   
Where:  The program will begin on the driving range at Whitetail Ridge every week.  Please have juniors report to the driving range at their designated time.  Please do not be late.

Cost:      The cost for the Junior Program is $100 per child.  This price includes five sessions of instruction, golf on the course, tee shirt, and range balls.  The Junior Championship will have an additional fee, $10 to $20 depending on age group.
